I have been giving some thought recently
to what you're going to do with all those photographs
that you have taken. Once you start getting some good
pictures that are of interest to others there are
plenty of opportunities to make a bit of money selling
them online. Have a look at my article Making
money from your Photographs for some ideas on
how to get started.
If you are taking photos of local events and want
a simple way to let people order prints then have
a look at the idea of having your own e-commerce web
presence. You might like to see what PhotoStockPlus
have to offer.
If you get bored with just reading, try your luck
in the Photo Quiz. It's
just a bit of fun but you might learn something too.
Don't miss the member gallery
where you can see many photos taken by photographers
from all around the world. It is developing into a
friendly community where you can give and receive
advice to help improve your photography. Don't be
shy, upload some photos.
Until recently all the tutorials have been written
by me. Whilst I shall of course continue writing,
I am pleased to have enlisted the help of contributing
author Dan
Moughamian who is an experienced Photoshop
instructor and fine art photographer. An Adobe Certified
Expert, Dan is also co-authoring an upcoming Photoshop
book on advanced compositing techniques, as well as
two Photoshop training videos. His company, Colortrails.com
is based near Chicago, Illinois. His first article
for the site on how to handle RAW
files can be seen here.
It will, I hope, be the first of many. Whenever time
permits, Dan also contributes to our help forums. |
