High contrast and tricky lighting

High Contrast

Here's a difficult lighting situation, the object we are most interested in is the fireball which, of course, is not there until the instant that you press the shutter.

Although the original transparency is good, it took a bit of jiggling in photoshop to increase the contrast of the shot and really make the fireball stand out from the rather cluttered background.
