Hi Ronel,


I really like the fishing float-line here, it adds that diagonal interest factor and a nice colour contrast. It draws the eye immediately along it.


I would crop the shot a little different tho. Ie: I'd put the float-line a little bit more over to the right hand side of the frame...chop a bit off the left side, and cut some of the top sky away, so that the horizon level isn't right smack bang in the middle of the pic.

My thoughts are similar to Kev's on this, apart from I'd crop the sand more rather than the sky. The horizon (as "they" say) should be either one third from the top or the bottom of the image, generally speaking.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
