Thanks for your comments. Did expect comments like this. I was so disapointed viewing shots on PC and yes out of focus. I felt so good about this composition. Sad I still like this shot

I actually like this shot....and yes, it's a pity that it's not in focus. The swirly sand effect is very neat and reminds me of my time living in Israel & Egypt. I spent quite a lot of time in the Sinai desert which has areas that look very similar to this.


I would also crop it so that the person is more to the right hand side of the frame and not so central, etc.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
