I know what you were trying to achieve here...but you just didn't quite pull it off. The sun is too high and bright...it probably would have been better to have waited until it was sitting right on top of that mountain range with a golden orange ball-glow...and then manouvred accordingly to get the desired effect.


That may have also created more of a sillouette type shot and looked really neat.

I think it's a great idea though, it's nice to see there is still some original thinking around. So many shots we see are copies of old ideas but I haven't seen this one before, clever. I think you need a bit of over exposure to get the message across but Kev's right, the light needs to be a bit more controlled.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
