If there is some softness it is because this picture was taken handheld with my 18 - 200 mm VR II lens.


I took this picture while having a short holiday in Hong Kong.

Welcome back swozt. I prefer this of your three uploads. The colours are spot on and the sharpness is exactly what I'd expect from swozt -- brilliant. I envy you these nightscapes -- there's really nothing like it here and you capture them so well.

Thanks Honez!! As u can see, the ISO has been pumped up due to enable me to take this handheld. I had some support on the railings and the VR lens.


Glad u still think it is sharp. Smile Somehow the fog gives it an interesting effect.

You do these night scenes so well, I like the cloudy/foggy top, it adds an interesting twist. Yes it could be a bit sharper but it's pretty damned good for handheld

its all sharp except for the sky part which is soft but that has given a Fly-Around
effect from tower-top to tower top!!! great shot ...
