I took this candid photo at a friend's wedding while we were waiting on the bride and groom arriving from their photoshoot. I've not had much experience at portraits, this was hand-held, inside the hotel with no flashgun.

Yvonne - I like this shot the best, it has a demure, thought provoking slant to it.

Yes, I agree Kev! The little girl was into everything, climbing everywhere and playing with forks at the table - I was a nervous wreck! The mother had been heavily involved in the wedding arrangements and I think her thoughts were elsewhere as we were waiting on the bride and groom arriving from their own photoshoot. She was probably hoping the rain would stay off long enough to get some decent pics, but, alas, we are in Scotland and, no, the heavens opened immediately after the ceremony!

Very Nice....the little ones expression is perfect....over all a very memory making photo....I like the soft hair and the over all feel of the pic. real nice

Thankyou LollyLockhart - I haven't done many portraits so a lot to learn but pleased that this turned out so well without any studio lighting or backcloth - a snatched candid photo at a friends wedding, the result was better than I expected.:)
