Here's the centre of a Anemone flower taken at 1:1 ratio. I stopped the lens down to f/32 on this one in order to get the extra DOF. Shooting beyond the f/16-f/22 range will increase "diffraction" a little - however, I think the trade-off for the additional depth is well worth it.

Hi Wolfie - I've actually started writing it...so should have it uploaded shortly.
I'm a bit of a lazy slug this time of year (on the PC) coz the weather outside is so damn good...so I don't sit in front of the computer much. I guess I need to get myself one of the new ipads for writing stuff outdoors, etc Smile

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
