I didn't intend on taking any pics this evening...but whilst I was out walking the dawg (in a light drizzle)
I noticed this bloom outside a local apartment building. So Smile >>>

Do you pick the flowers and take it back to the studio to take the picture ???
Looks good i assume the green mark is part of the type of flower.
When you do the stack do you focus at the back and move forward or the front and move back ??

Also what do you use to support the flowers ??

Yep, all stacks are shot indoors...it would be impossible to shoot 50+ images for a stack...outside (ie: with breeze, motion, etc)...especially in the rain Smile

Yes, this tulip has green accents on the petal tips.
I do focus at the back and then work towards the front in incremental steps.
I support the flower with whatever suits...a small glass, a vase, sometimes I even stick the stem into a banana or apple to use as a base holder - whatever works.

Many questions today Braveheart - is this the Scottish Inquisition? Smile
