This is probably my favourite colour of Honeysuckle. The very sweet fragrance is also an added bonus.
There's lots of these growing around here at the moment.

How on earth did you manage to get this in position to get the picture ???
Must admit i love the colour of this one.Never seen this colour before.
There is very little diffrence in the DOF in F22 shot to stack to my eye

Nothing very technical...I stuck the stem into a hard Granny Smith apple and used that as a base-holder Smile

I used my Nikon 105mm 2.8 macro lens...and layer-masked the subject in Capture NX2 to create a jet-black background.


Sometimes I use CS5, sometimes NX2...or even a combination of both progs together...it all depends upon the subject and complexity of the isolation-mask that I need to create.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
