Did a photowalk on my own to Malacanang Palace, the Philippines' seat of power. Near the Palace was this row of razor wires with rusty tips.

Powerful shot, mel. Nicely composed. Could use just a bit of noise reduction as it seems a little grainy, especially between the wires.

Ha, ha. I wasn't part of the demonstration, Rich. I just happened to pass by the area and took a few shots of the barricade's details.


Clem. this is one of my experiments on the Lomo effect and part of it was to add some blur and grains to look like it came from a Russian camera. The original photo came out too clean at 1/500, ISO 400, f/7.1, EV -0.67.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
