Got up early to capture a beach sunrise, but it was overwhelmed by an approaching thunderstorm. I got soaked... :-/
This was taken from Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island (if you're interested), one of the large sand islands in Moreton Bay, just off the coast of Brisbane.

I like this one the most of the three recent uploads. I can feel the strength of those rocks and the storm rolling in looks powerful. The overall colour scheme is a nice palette too. The image is slightly soft tho isn't it.

Yes, it's still got a little bit of post work to be done, as I'm still on location doing this on my laptop, so I haven't done the final NR, sharpening and other final tweaks yet.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
