All I wanted was one photo with the awesome fall bokah and lighting. She *almost* obliged me. But this is her essence, always silly

LOL. If you could get the cute smiling face from the other shot with the background from this one...

This is my fav...it's soft, cute and relaxed.
Here hair is nice too, she's starting to look like a little lady.
Big eyes are always a winner.

Thanks! She is starting to look more like a little lady. I'm starting to accept it more with a new baby coming

Oh, kev, and anyone else who cares to answer...I've been wondering if you've heard of this new Lytro camera and what you think?

HI KB, just doing some reading up on the Lytro, it seems it's an 8 megapixel constant f/2.0. Not sure what focal length that lens is, (8x optical zoom), but probably 28 to 25 at its widest. It's pretty neat that you can refocus after-the-fact, but to me a 28mm, 8Mp constant f/2 camera wouldn't have me dropping my Canon gear any time soon whether you can refocus or not.
Having said that though, if you bumped those specs in a couple of years then this could really be something special.
At the moment, it seems to be aimed at the consumer who'd rather point and click without having to think, although the f/2 is going to annoy a few of them as many might expect it all to be in focus, not selective arty bokeh.
Like I said, I think this is going to develop into some pretty serious tech in the future, but at v1.0, it's not for me. Just my two cents.

Thanks, honez. If I were to get one that's exactly what I'd use it for. As a point and shoot to capture those everyday moments that I don't always get with my dslr...At first I was really turned off that you can't print, or you can but just very limited, I think the max file you can print is like 1000x1000 or something, but I'd probably really only use it for sharing on the web anyways. I may still ask Santa for one...or rather the Easter Bunny because they don't have software for Windows out yet...
