This picture was shot with a Sony Mavica in 2001 in Bermuda. The 3.5" floppy disk then hid out on a shelf for over 10 years until I recently came across it. Remember that it was shot with a camera that boasted 1.6 megapixels, which was quite something back in the day.

I remember floppy discs. Not a bad shot for the quality of the equipment in those days. Welcome to the site

Some of the first photos I ever took were in 2006 with a little Canon A400. It had 3.2 megapixels, and was looked at with some of the same regard as the canon powershots that now have 12-14 mg and cost $75-99. At the time it cost $150 and it had the shape of a box. lol! Thankfully, Canon has upgraded. The strange thing though, is that that camera took better photos that the one I got later. (HP m540 -- 6.2mp) I still wonder why.
This is a very nice photo, Bruce! Love the man cutting his fish while still in the boat. Nice colors too! And a five-gallon bucket! That brings a touch of reality to the photo! Nice! And congrats on your upcoming trip to Hawaii/Oahu! Sounds great!

I thought that the bird standing there waiting for a free lunch helped tell the story too!

Thank you for your nice comments!
