His name is John Paul, a friend I met last Saturday 11-12-11. Filled with life and vigor, he keeps on smiling and plays with the other kids on the block Sad to know he is bloated from head to foot due to liver cancer and his parents couldn't give him the needed care and medication due to poverty. How I wish there is something I could do for him. Such a lovely smile... yet sad...

Description: We were having street food for lunch when he came along. We was a war vet and suffered psychological damage after an encounter with insurgents and could no longer speak. He moves around the city asking anybody for food. We invited him to join us for lunch and, man, he ate a lot. As a sign of gratitude he posed for us and allowed us to take his photo.
