About Me I’ve always been into art by nature. As a matter of fact, it seems like any interest or hobbies that I’ve ever had have somehow been directly linked to self expression in one form or another.


I bought my first camera a few years back, when I was working temporarily as a graphic designer. I had been working with photographs and royalty free images that rarely fit into my design style. So, being a bit of a control freak, I decided to buy a fairly cheap KODAK P850 and start doing my own product shots.


This eventually turned into a couple of actual photo shoots because my company decided it was cheaper to have me take the photographs then hire a photographer.


So, to have as much control as I could over my photos, I read every bit of source information I could on the topic. When I finished working for the design company, I put my camera away.


I pulled my camera back out recently to start photographing my fiancé and the munchkins. She has been highly supportive, encouraging for me to take my photography further… even volunteering me to do photo shoots for some of her work colleagues.


This has brought me to the wonderful website that Geoff has developed. The photographers here are highly talented, informative, instructional, supportive and genuine. I look forward to being a long time member.
