I like this...I'm not usually into anything that is related to religion at all - but I think from a compositional standpoint - this is probably one of your best pics - to date.


Yes, I do think it could be given a little 'active D-lighting' type boost to brighten it up a bit...and it would have been even better IF the sky was a more blue.


However, I like the depth concept, and everything is quite sharp too.

Thanks Kev, your positive comments are really encouraging as I was disappointed with the weather on the day. Will make a return visit and maybe take in the sunset on the beach at St Andrews as well as the architecture - see what difference the lighting makes. Thanks again for reviewing the pic.:)

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
