These 2 photo's taken about a minute apart. One with flash, and one without. The orange glow drew me outside. Sunrise about 7am I saw the sky as a deep orange glow but not so heavy and eerie looking as in the pic.
I love the way I had three different looks at the time.
That little branch in the foreground hanging off the tree annoys me no end as I take a lot of pictures of the sky from this position on my verandah.. It's way too high for me to remove... one day it'll become so brittle that it'll fall off... I can't wait till that day..

Did you colour enhance the orange sky?
Go on - you can tell us Smile

Honest Kev... I didn't !! The sky WAS orange but not nearly as scary and dark looking as this picture. You hear people say "the camera never lies" haha. little do they know.. This camera DID lie !!

I don't even know how to properly enhance photo's in PS. Ah tell a lie, I've learnt very very recently since visiting here how to straighten horizons.. Blimey... I had to !! (and been much more aware of the horizon when taking pics)

I've only been learning photoshop and similar programs since about march/april and then it's only playing by adding frames, and effects... digital scrapbooking stuff..

Great shot! Looks like the sky is on fire, literally, not just in colour and the clouds are like smoke billows - very good and great for Halloween!

Don't worry - I believe's ya....
The sky is certainly very dramatic - looks like one of those postcard shots.
Pity there's not just a bit more going on in the foreground to make it truly an amazing shot.

Maybe if you could wrap one of those poisonous snakes around that tree branch - that might do the trick Smile
