these were taken at the same time as the others..(colage) which was a wedding I shot with the catering co. simply devine in mind. I have played with it some do you like it better

I think you need to fiddle with the levels here and the colour balance. The indoor lighting has rendered everything a bit orange and the food looks a bit dull. I'm sure if you fiddle a bit you can get a better picture.

Hi Lolly, yeah this needs a simple touchup in software.
The highlights/shadows function in PS will do the trick.
I wouldn't have cut off the platter end like that.
I love cheese!!!!!!!!!! Nah!

Thanks guys, I have cropped is and played with the highlights and shadows I think, it looks better. but there is still alot of noise.

Yes it looks better...altho it still has that dull contrast kind of vibe, especially in the background. Indoor lighting is always pretty much the pitts...so any shot like this isn't going to look stunning unless we use the necessary lighting gear, etc.


What is that cheese?, it looks like feta - but one doesn't usually eat large chunks of it like that. Just curious...

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
