I really like the vibe around the foreground boats/water/sand area here. The light almost gives it a spooky-surreal sorta feel & presence...whereas the background looks different, like it's from another picture - almost. I think it would be really kool if you could take another shot of those boats (under the same lighting conditions) with just the ocean in the background.

The problem with this one Kev, is that if I moved over to the right the lights from the harbor arm are too bright and will saturate the shot.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
