Help! I have fallen over and can't get back up.
A small tree fallen over into a dry creek bed.
Minimal amount of HDR, but mostly photoshopped to bring out the branches, and bokeh the periphery.

Where's the engine? I can't see it. I must be going blind, aaaarrrggghhh!

Nice tones, I like the subtle ones better. Good composition too.

LOL. I couldn't find any engines amongst all the nature, so I photographed a helpless dead bit of it.

I've been reading up a bit on composition for landscapes. This is one of the most blatant ones I could come up with, with diagonals pointing right at the lower RHS "third point" which was my focus point.
The photoshop work was some radial blur originating at the focus point on a background layer (with the diagonal focus tree branches excluded.) I also burned the background layer to try to draw focus back in on the sweet spot.
It didn't work out quite as well as I'd hoped, but I'd like to think I'm learning bit by bit as I go.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
