i tryed 2 umbrellas to imitate a light box
any suggestions on how to eliminate some reflections would be helpful

Reflective light will always be a challange. Using density panels infront of the light sources will offer a 'softer' less harsh lighting. Light position/placement is of course very important - so ya need to experiment quite a bit - move them around until you find the best look.
Also, you could try what I do with my indoor flowers shots. Use a very minimal lighting setup...and compensate for this by using a long exposure shutter setting.
You'd be surprised at the pics you can get in reduced lighting IF you get the hang of it...which in turn reduces glare/refelction to an absolute minimum.


For example - believe it or not - this shot was taken in almost NO light with a 10 sec exposure.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
