Yo Honez,

I like this one...but I think I prefer the orginal a bit more...simply coz one can see all of the rusty bike...which gives it that 'down n dirty' vibe.

This one is better in the fact that I can't see the blokes in shorts - which sorta took away from the other version - a bit.

That bike looks like it would fit right in - in the movie "from Dusk till Dawn" (one of my favourites I might add) Smile

I prefer this close-up. This one has got more of the photographer in it, some selection and composition, you have made it into your picture. The other one was just a record shot of the bike.

Thanks guys. Since posting this I can now see some ghosting I didn't eliminate around the handlebars of both bikes. I don't know how I could have missed it given how careful I was with the masking . Very annoying. Thanks for your feedback too Geoff. The recropping I did was the result of a conversation down the pub with a mate of mine, when I was trying to explain what I was trying to contrast in the shot. It's amazing how talking about the photo and your motives can clarify things. Either that or the beer. Anyway, after we solved the world economic crisis, and came up with a new theoretical model for how fluid dynamics affects a cricket ball in flight, I decided to rework my original photo to this framing, to better reflect what I'd described down at the pub.
I'm glad it came across.
