I'm dying to know the story behind these shots. Do tell us.

Well, I don't want to disappoint ......
but all I did is go to an Asian American folk arts festival...and these were the best of the shots, I took alot but most were out of focus due to slow shutter speed and bad lighting...even these arn't as good as I like.
They had boothes(where this was taken), dancers(of all ages and different counrties) and food from all over asia...It was very eye opening as I have never been to that part of the world. Oh and the purple orchids were for sale just $15usd.

LollyLockhart - Regarding the slow shutter speed, I found that if you adjust the shutter speed for a faster shot and use your flash, you can usually get a nicely filled shot that is in fairly decent focus. Hope this helps, a bit... I'm just starting out, myself and kind of stumbled across that little tip. I used to hate using flash, but now I find it quite the lifesaver!
Great shot!
