I like Koi, I have a smallish outdoor pond (1200 gallons). It's about 9 ft by 7ft and 5 ft deep. I have 6 biggish Koi (note the spelling) and one goldfish. They love moving water so I built a fountain up thru the middle to keep the water constantly in motion, plus it enhances oxygenation and circulation, etc.


I do wonder if fish ever get bored tho? Smile
Just hanging out like that in such confined space.

Hey Kev,
I don't think fish have a very long memory, so, like gold fish only have a 15 sec. memory and can't get bored. Your tank doesn't seem to small. I'm sure your Coi love you.:D

I LOVE my Koi also .... and yes they really enjoy the moving water... mine play under the splashes.. My pond is even smaller, and has 3 Koi in residence...

I'm so sorry if I gave the impression this was my Koi Pond....the picture was taken at a garden nursery, but thanks so much for the kind words.
