Photo from a recent senior portrait session. He described his style as, "unconventional, against the grain, and humorous". I attempted to capture these traits in the portraits.

This is my FAV of your three uploads. The overall composition, vibe, etc is more interesting/appealing to me. Altho he looks different...he kinda reminds me of 'Slash' from G&R, the same kind of moody-serious expression that he had at about the same age.

This has a nice soft feel and very relaxed.

Plus I like black acoustic guitars Smile

Yes, this is my favourite also - a Josh Groban look-a-like! The portrait is very pleasing, colour and lighting good and sets a nice mood. Very nice Smile

Thanks all. He kind of reminds me of a very young Peter Buck (R.E.M.), as well. In some of the other shots taken during the session, he also comes across as a Harry Potter look alike. Either way, he was a load of fun to shoot. It took quite a few takes to get this serious look on him. He just couldn't stop smiling!
