I'm not sure if I meant to take the picture with the birds in it or not. It came out well though. This is on a beach on the Texas coast.

I like the way the birds add to the composition drawing the eye to the building. I'd recrop the image without the road in it though, and re-process the colour curves for some more contrast as it looks a little washed out.

yes I like the birds also. i think if cropping out the road, leave a little of it showing, and reduce the sky accordingly..

Is there a way to crop it here on the site? or do I have to upload the same photo but edited?

I don't think there is. You'll have to recrop/edit in your photo editor of choice and reload. Resize/scale it to round 1000 pixels on the long side while you're at it too, as the original is way too large to view properly through the site.
