Yo Wolfie, this is much better than your last floral upload....simply because you have taken this away from any direct sunlight...with immediate improved results. Hence, a lot more detail on the petals and much niceler, even luminosity-blance across the bloom.


Now, the thing is to obtain a larger DOF (so use f/16 - f/22, and get that sucker focused as sharp as possible. A macro is the best flower lens...because they are usually tack sharp with excellent optical clarity, etc.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
