A very nice lookout view Beth. It looks like the whitebalance is out a bit though as there is some discolouration in the water. Looking at the EXIF of the photo, the whitebalance was set to AUTO and you fired the flash. That's probably what caused the problem. For shots like this, you definitely need to keep the flash off (I'm assuming the A400 has a setting to override the auto flash).
I'd liked to have seen a little bit more of the waterfall's plunge pool in the composition though, so it's not cut off. I don't know if you could have got any wider with the focal length, or whether this is as wide as you could go. You could possibly have reframed slightly lower to try to capture the pool, but that might have run the risk of the falls being too high in the shot.
It's still a nice image, which with a bit of post-processing work on the whitebalance and colour curves to correct the saturation and contrast of the blacks, would come out well.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
