Now that you have the D700 I'm assuming that you are using NX2 to process your NEF files. I would quickly apply some 'control points' here to lighten up just the stone work and greenery area - it's a bit dark from where I sit. Also, a polarizer would have made the sky/clouds look richer/nicer...I gather that you didn't use one here.

Thanks for the feedback Kev. I haven't gotten the landscape thing down yet. I actually use CS4 to edit and ACR for RAW images. I think I will try the NX2. I have the disk, but have never really tried it. Thanks again.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
