I think this is a great picture, the detail in the butterfly and the flower is first class. I'm not sure it needs the crazy background though. Whilst I think this is a great effect, I think it overpowers the main picture and detracts from it somewhat. So, two great pictures, but I don't think they work together too well. Possibly toning the background down a bit might help.

Thanks! This is actually one picture. Um, the original background is really not great at all. It is a brick house, a sidewalk, and some bushes, all in red and green, which really contrasted the pink and orange. So, what I did was, I cut out and copied the flower and butterfly. Then I made it a new top layer, and changed the hue of the backgroung to blend better. I know it is a totally wacky situation, but I figured, better wacky than nothing, toning it down might work though, I'll try it!

I quite like the background effect...however, the only prob is that is does clash with the subject colour-wise, so if it was a contrasting/different colour scheme it would probably work a lot better overall.

Kinda interesting tho.

Yeah, I know, I've got to go back into photoshop and change up tha coloring a bit. My only problem is that I don't think I saved that picture as a PSD, and therefore, I will have to start all over Sad
