A yellow rose in my mother's flower bed. I used curved to fix it up a bit, but not much.

Thats the 'Peace' Rose (Rosa 'Madame A. Meilland')...which has a nice scent too.


Try a smaller aperture next time. F/4.5 just isn't deep enough to capture such a large bloom like this. Go somewhere in the f/11 tp f/22 range.
It's also a little over exposed...so adjust the S/H levels a bit in PS...and don't crop the subject so hard...leave a bit more space to let the flower breath.


Just sayin'.....

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
