I think on this shot...it would have been better to make both hands in focus as well as the face...so as to put the viewers attention on the carpet making itself. I find the very blurry right hand to be rather distracting or awkward.

yeah,ur right but my lens F was on 4 and i wanted to have a less depth of view by the way i didnt want to lose his face and i put it in focus
about right side....i dont have an idea...i think its about focus too
