In order to capture these hummers properly...you will need to use at least 1/1500s or more...as their wings move at an incredible speed. Funny you just posted this...coz about 2 hours ago I was sitting in my front yard watching the hummingbirds feed on the flowers. We have a lot of them here on Vancouver Island all year round.

Thanks Kev. I don't really like all the noise, but it ws kind of neat that I got two at a time:)

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
