This is the best of your three flower uploads...simply because you used f/7.1 here...and not f/2.8 as with the other two shots. For large blooms like this f/2.8 is simply not a small enough aperture and only provides a very shallowl DOF...which in effect, makes the pics look rather soft/blurry...as we can see in your other two images.


This one has decent luminosity balance across the entire frame, you took it on a cloudy day, and the DOF is pretty good. However, it still needs to be a bit sharper...so I'd always use a tripod, plus that will also allow you to obtain a little more depth-detail as well.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
