Hi richingr, I have been looking at you images AIMHO I would give them a levels adjustment in software because they look quite flat and lifeless and a tweak would improve the shot overall.

That's an idea. I agree, DRD. I don't know about them being "flat, and lifeless," but I think levels would help them out. Or, if you don't have Photoshop, or Elements, just boost the contrast, shadows, and adjust the fill light.
