What part of a MAXIMUM of 3 photo uploads per day do you not understand?
Flooding the forum with 27 will get you a lot less feedback than drip-feeding the images that you actually want comments/feedback on.
I certainly have no wish to go trawling through 27 images to provide feedback.

This is fantastic! I wish I could also flood the site with 27 of my New Year's Eve blury shots and not feel guilty about it.

I personally feel that it's important to limit the number of uploads to the gallery for several reasons.

1) It's just not possible for members to offer feedback on a large number of uploads...so, by uploading 27 at once, it tends to actually make folks not respond to any of them at all... as it's just overwhelming...and thus counter-productive.

2) IF anyone uploads a large amount of pics...what that technically does is PUSH everyone elses images 'off' the main page and therefore "out of sight"...which ultimately means...that they get little or no 'air time' and once gone from the front page...nobody will probably bother to go searching into the archives to see them.

3) It's uncourteous and rude to flood any gallery, because it's simply hogging the spotlight.

I think that three (3) uploads "per week" would actually be a sensible limit. That's over 150 photos per member each year...which is certainly a large enough display of work from each individual. This would also help ensure that people chose their uploads a bit more carefully, etc.

I hope that the gaffer (Geoff) can turn on some "upload" software limiter to now set a pre-determined max number of uploads.
