The lighting is still too harsh...and thus not 'diffused' enough yet.
Plus, also...obviously, you need to do some spec cleanup.
I tell ya, using black plexiglass is tricky...it takes getting just the right angle, having black card backdrop & above to create a truly black colour (ie: reflected on the glass)...and a lot of cleanup.

Well, to me the background looks a browny colour and not black. Is the plexiglass a solid black colour?

To get it jet-black...one must use black card behind and above it...to cast a black shadow reflection into the plexiglass itself...if not, the plexiglass will simply absorb/reflect whatever colours are falling onto it.

IF you light the subject from the sides...you can place a thick art card behind it...and hold a card above it with one hand whilst you shoot. Angle the camera accordingly...so that when you look thru the viewfinder the image background appears totally black.

Once you've got that down pat...you can do the cleanup (of the dust, etc)...later on on post edit.

Thanks for the help Kev. I dont think i had black background in this one.I have now converted my light tent with black cloth on top and back . So will try it again with lighting from the sides .What camera setting do you normally use.
