The overall detail is quite sharp...and the flower lighting is good. I do like the red centre colouring on this. IF it were my shot, I would take it so the brick wall was not there (ie: just the Peony with the green foilage) showing. Also, I would lighten-up the background leaves somewhat in PS...they are a tad too dark IMHO.

Thanks. I agree about the lightening up the leaves. I confess to working w/o photoshop right now, just my camera and the modest editing tools available with its software or in iPhoto. I could, perhaps should, crop out the brick. I have other shots sans brick, but this one is the best overall in terms of lighting and color in the flower.
