HI Beth This has got potential. I have found when converting to Black & White
If you use the burn and dodge tools very gently you can give blacks and whites more bite. May be worth giving it a try. It is a good picture .Maybe even bring the true colour out in the numbers on the box

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
