Nice job. The black and white works great here. I love the focusing and the different depths of field as well. You didn't break the window did ya? :P

Good shot.. maybe it would of been good to try to move the branches from the front of the window and (perhaps someone's reflection on the window!!) to see a different image perspetives of the scenery, is just an opinion, besides that, good B W composition. This type of images collects interesting details and makes you wander about the history of the old house.

Thanks. No, the window was broke when I found it... and (ARGHHH!!) I debated moving the branches out of the way, but ended up leaving them there. And now that I think about it, why didn't I just take TWO shots (with and without)? Oh well, I plan to go back... there are so many photos waiting to be had there. It was actually a very nice country house that someone just let rot away.
P.S. I was hoping you wouldn't see the accidental "self portrait" Smile

Like the B&W composition . For me the Branch seems to add to the picture as it makes it look well over grown. Will wait for the picture with no branch to see the diffrence.

I agree. I like the picture with the branches. I think that the same shot without branches would look a bit empty, but it's up to you Smile
