Don't even ask why I like this one! 'Cause I don't know! Maybe it's that the blur makes it have a painting look? I can clearly tell that there's a barn, and silo thingy, and fence, and grass.... but it's all a blur. However, I still kind of like the photo. Maybe you fellow photographers can tell me... What do you like, or not like about it?

To be honest and just between the two of us, I dont like it, Beth. Whenever I want to see clean, clear, sharp and well composed photos, I look at Honez, Easy426, Richingr, Greywolf (may he rest in peace), Kdlazz, Kev, Kbirdd, and your photos. C'mon, this isnt yours... Wink

this looks more like my output.... Nah!

Beth, remember one simple thing...less is more.
There's no need to upload every picture that you 'think' might be OK.
The secret is to be VERY selective and to present only your best work for public display...even IF that means just posting 2-3 images per month.
It's all about quality, and not quantity.

Whereas I agree with 'less is more' and I use that very expression at least once every day, I think this gallery is a place where you can try out your experiments on others and get opinions.

Personally, I love motion blur and like to experiment with it a lot, however I think it works best when there is at least one thing in the picture which is sharp, hopefully the main subject. So I don't think this is a good picture, but it's good to experiment, that's how you develop ideas.

Hi Kev. I've got to remember things like that. Lest me see if I can drill it into my head....Less...is..more.... I'll work on it.

Hello Geoff! Thank you for the kind words. I always experiment, but maybe I over do it sometimes. Okay, it makes sense to have something in focus. I'll try it that way next time. Thanks again!

You know what's funny is that the thumbnail looked intriguing, because it looked like the barn was in focus and the foreground was motion blurred, and I was trying to figure out how you pulled that off! Like you did a panning shot of a moving barn!
