I like this one too, however - I personally think the little red and gray sign things sorta' distract...
Maybe a bit of cloning would help that out.
On a side note, you might boost the colors too... they're all sorta the same tone like -blue, gray, brown...maybe boosting 'em would make the landscape pop more Wink

Then again, maybe that's just me Smile

Thanks Beth, Am interested in others comments on Beth's Comments on this one as for once i did very little to this one .The pole is aSnow pole .When there is heavy snow you can not see where the road is for clearing the snow from the road.
The poles are there so they can see where the road actualy is. Should you show the pole or clone it out. What should we hide and what should we show. :-)

I like the pole as it adds just a splash of red to create contrast. Snow poles, man you must get a lot of the white stuff...we don't even have snow poles here in Canucksville.

Personally, I wouldn't saturate the colours any more than is....Yes, the colours are slightly tepid...but I wouldn't want to create an un natural vibe here,

I have a sneaky feeling that you added the sky in - am I right, or not?

Sorry Kev you are wrong what you see is what you get. I have other pics from down the hill 5 minutes later and had changed again and had spits of rain

AWB was on Sunny if that makes the diffrence ??
Would you use custom white balance on something like this ??

"Sorry Kev you are wrong"

He said that with such conviction - LOL Smile

OK, I just thought yiou might have...as my eyes were kinda drawn to the line that runs along the top of the hills...it sorta looks like it has a cut-out lined edge to it....as it's very smooth/uniform in appearence.

OK...my BAD Smile

I like it, but I see Beth's point about the distraction. My take is that the red color jumps a bit too much, there's not much contrast between the pole and the rock face behind it, and the poles are spaced too far apart to instantly clue you in as to what it is. All those items form a "Snow Pole consiracy" that are working against you. Just my opinion... I do like the compostion.
