Nicely blurred out background again i would have tried to get that little bit more on the right hand side rather than cut off the leaf .

Ah, you must be in OZ, coz these are mostly native to OZstralia Smile
I think you've cropped it a bit too tight in the frame here, and the subject isn't quite in focus. I suspect it was hand-held, and at f/9 that's gonna be a tad tricky to get sharp, especially on a cloudy-ish day with low light.

Hi guys thanks for looking and commenting, yes I am indeed in Oz, I am probably making excuses here but it was a tad windy, I think there is this little pocket of air that follows me when I photograph flowers or insects LOL

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
