swozt Registered: June 2008 Posts: 339	I dont exactly go out of my way to photograph flowers. But it is Lotus blooming season in Macau and every where i go I am surrounded by them. And they do make such good subjects that I cant resist. Not sure why after uploading, the pic is not that sharp. Still, hope you enjoy it.

Yes, very exotic - I wish I had easy access to those flowers...they look so interesting. Once again, I think the shot would look nicer if you cropped some of the background out and thus focused completely on the flower. The centre colours are very unique...perhaps a more overhead shot...looking down onto the flower would be really good too. It's a large, deep flower - so therefore a small aperture is required...to capture the DOF detail, etc.

This is my favourite out of all the flowers u have posted. I agree with Kev but ur shots have their own style, which makes them interesting and worthy of going up on the wall. I would like to see u put together an album with all of them together. Well done.
