I like it! The center shot can be okay, you know! It's just nice to break it up sometimes... I think it works in this case.

Personally, I think you could go with a wider DOF on these shots. The focus on the petals is rather soft. Though that may be due to the slow shutter speed. If this was hand held, you're probably getting some camera shake... 1/60 is pretty slow for that focal length. The background turned out great though.

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
