So serious! Hair neatly combed, nicely dressed... how long did that take? Wink


I like the way that you set up the shot and framed it. The sharpness of the background keeps pulling me in that direction... a little blur back there would help.


I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the extreme contrast. I know you did that intentionally on a few shots before, but on this portrait I don't think it works. It's hard to see the eyes and the skin tone is almost white... It's a good expression though.

Yes im with Clem on this one main subject is not singing out from the picture.

I'm making a checklist here.... blur the background... No problem.
Haha! Yep, that it what I planned for it. However, it won't be a lot of trouble to change that. I've still got the "master," so I'll do a little work on it, and see what I can do.

Check out the effect Meltinman used . Could maybe go well with this type shot.


( I saw this tutorial in youtube called the Dragan effect. Studied it and this was the output )

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
