I am starting a project on Flickr. This is my first photo for the 100 strangers project. I was walking around in a store, and she was stacking hundreds of candles. My first thought was: I could take her photo! For that project that I've been avoiding! Then I thought..."No, I couldn't do that." I had a real fight with myself over it! But finally I decided... "What have I got to lose? I'll probably never see her again anyway! So I did! I told her about the project and what I wanted to do, and she was happy to oblige! In the rush I forgot her name, but I am forever grateful to her for giving me the confidence I needed to start the program.
