War Shock

We was a war vet and suffered psychological damage after an encounter with insurgents and could no longer speak. He moves around the city asking anybody for food. We invited him to join us for lunch and, man, he ate a lot. As a sign of gratitude he posed for us and allowed us to take his photo.

Thanks everybody for the complement. Yup kromm, I darkened the background because I thought it was a little light and taking my attention away from the main subject.

Great shot...love the detail.
It has an HDR quaity to it...what FX did you use on this?

They call it the Dragan Effect which I found in youtube. I cant seem to paste the link here but anyway, look for the Dragan Effect by Iceflows Studios. Is a bit complicated but the final output is really terrific.
