Did you photoshop in the reflection or take it like that. I usually used static lights
rather than flash. White is not a easy colour in my opinion.

No, this was not photoshopped. I placed the subject on top of a table with a glass top producing a reflection but there were 2 more reflections and had to remove it. I'm thinking of getting an acrylic sheet to have 1 reflection only. I dont know it that would work though

It's a bit soft - innit.
Yeah, a regular mirror will create a double reflection...which often looks too much.
Acrylic is better in that regard...but it's a bugger to clean properly and shows up the dust like $**% on a blanket.


Personally, I think the photoshop method is probably the best way overall...simply because you have endless options on the variance of opacity, etc. Kinda like this one:

If your monitor is calibrated properly you should see sixteen distinct tones from white to black.
